Test Tube Baby

Test Tube Baby is a 1950s doo-wop song by a band called "Beth and the Turners." The premise of the song is that the singer is failing science class and must flirt with the teacher for a better grade. Although the band's lead singer Beth Turner was in college at the time of recording the song, the lyrics are told from the perspective of a high schooler and as a result it really, really, hasn't aged well. "Test Tube Baby" more recently refers to a baby born via IVF (In Vitro Fertilization).
